Privacy Policy

This policy

This policy covers the congregation app for The Pentecostal Church of Hollister. The app has no account. It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location, and it does not sell information or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Stored on this phone

The app keeps your appearance choice and Bible reading-plan progress on the phone. It also keeps recently loaded sermons, the public calendar, and public-domain Bible chapters so they can open again. NIV and Amplified chapters stay for up to 14 days, with the copyright notice that came with the chapter. ESV text is not saved on the phone.

What the app requests

When you open a feature, the app requests that item from the service that provides it. The sermon list comes from the church website. A sermon video plays in YouTube’s embedded player. An audio-only sermon plays from the audio address in the sermon list. The calendar comes from the church’s public Google calendar. KJV, ASV, and Reina-Valera 1909 come from the Free Use Bible API. NIV and Amplified come from API.Bible. ESV comes from Crossway. Those services receive the phone’s network address and the item you opened, such as a chapter or a video. The app does not send them your name.

Giving

Give opens the browser to the church’s existing giving page. The app does not take a card and does not see your gift.

Children

This is a church app for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
